So this year since I havent been working I decide to be creative for halloween. I was in the mood to make some food and there is what was created.

I started with these ingridents:

So I started following the recipie for rice krispies but I had a plan. When the butter and marshmellows were almost melted I added 2 drops of red food coloring and 10 drops of yellow and continued to mix so that the resuly was a pumpkin orange. I added the rice krispies and mixed until they were all coated. I then put the mixture in the fridge for 5 minutes so that I wouldnt burn my hands off. While they were in there I took a strip of the chocolate twizzlers and cut it into about half in long pieces and put them a side. I removed the mixture from the fridge. I then got out the Pam-wanna-be spray and coated my hands. I then made the mixture into about 1/2 cup sized balls and placed them on the wax paper.

After the whole mixture was done i put the pan in hot water ( that stuff is a pain to get cleaned if let to dry on the pan). Now remeber that chocolate twizzlers pieces? Well i inserted a small piece into each pumpkin for the stem.

I then popped them into the fridge for about 10 minutes so they can firm up. After the 10 minutes or so, I took them out and comenced decorating my pumpkins. :)

I used the frosting in a can that comes out like the cheese. I started with a start tip to try to get some interesting eyes.

That didnt seem to be working too well so I changed to the writing tip. I was much more pleased with the results with that tip so I finished them up with that.

I hope my nephew will like them :)
